Mining Legends Charity Rebuild

It’s less than 4 weeks now to the unveiling of the spectacular finale of the Mining Legends charity rebuild project which has seen a well-used R2900G Loader taken apart, restored and rebuilt to its former glory.

The Mining Legends project aims to provide families within mining communities around Australia support at their time of need, as well as provide a vehicle for service providers around the nation to contribute to their wider communities.

Miners’ Promise is honoured to be a beneficiary of the Mining Legends project – it’s humbling to behold the generosity of our resources sector.  The money raised from the sale of the rebuilt Loader will enable Miners’ Promise to help even more of our mining sector families impacted by crisis.

The charity rebuild will see between $500,000 and $1,000,000 raised from the sale of the R2900G Loader and then donated to Miners’ Promise and other worthy charities. Worthy Parts will host the KCGM Legends of Gold Mining Legends Charity Gala Dinner at the Kalgoorlie Boulder Racing Club on 26th October 2019 to recognise the generous donor businesses who have helped make this inspiring project a reality.

Thank you to all the wonderful companies involved for your generous contribution, dedication and tireless support of the project!

And a huge thank you to Michael and Jaymi Worthington and their awesome Worthy Parts team – your endless energy and inspiring desire to give back has seen your unique fundraising concept become a monumental fundraising success revered by all, and that will positively impact the lives of so many families in need in our mining communities.
