Miners’ Promise has a new General Manager
We are delighted to welcome Wayne Martin to the Miners’ Promise team.
As the organisation’s new General Manager, Wayne will be responsible for increasing brand awareness and building on our membership base across Australia through the development of new resource sector relationships and of our long-term strategic relationships within the sector.
Wayne has more than 25 years experience working in both white collar and blue collar industries across Australia including the resources, banking and finance, health care services, government, and defence force sectors. He also brings strong experience in the not-for-profit sector from his work with the Children’s Special Olympics organisation.
Wayne joins us from his previous role as the State General Manager for Bupa WA where he was responsible for the set-up and successful growth of the organisation’s brand and membership base within WA. Prior to this role Wayne held the position of State Manager (WA/SA) for the ANZ Commercial Broker Unit.
Wayne’s previous experience also includes building industry partnerships across the resources, government and defence force sectors as a development manager within the HVAC Industry associated with the Collins Class Submarine and Northwest mining contracts.
