CME Executive Council Meeting

Miners’ Promise Inaugural Chairman Ian Fletcher and Director Rebecca Morton-Stephens were delighted to have the opportunity to represent Miners’ Promise at the CME Executive Council meeting in December.

Ian and Rebecca outlined the history of Miners’ Promise including who we are and the important role that we play in the resources sector and the real opportunity for all organisations to partner with us.

Here at Miners’ Promise, we recognise that the resources sector’s number one priority is the safety, health and well-being of its people. We know that employees are our most valuable asset and their health and safety is our greatest responsibility. That’s why Miners’ Promise is working to ensure that all resources sector employees have access to our services and that no-one feels alone or unsupported.

As Rebecca and Ian said, a partnership with Miners’ Promise can be as simple as promoting Miners’ Promise membership to your employees. This comes with no financial commitment from your organisation but provides you with the knowledge and peace of mind that should your employees experience a crisis, you are providing them with the added protection of Miners’ Promise, and that we’ll be there for them.

We know that by partnering with Miners’ Promise it shows your employees that you truly care.

Our huge thanks to Paul Everingham, Chief Executive Officer CME and to all CME Executive Council Members. We are extremely proud to have been given this opportunity and we have engaged in some really positive one on one meetings with many Executive Council Members since December’s meeting.
