What do we do?
We are an extension of your family – we’re looking out for you.
Miners’ Promise is an independent not-for-profit organisation established to support resource sector employees across the Australian mining, oil & gas and construction industries. Our fundamental service is the practical, emotional and financial support provided to families following a significant crisis event or death.
In these darkest of times that we rarely plan for, Miners’ Promise steps in like a good friend offering emotional and practical support to members and their families. This often includes financial help – but it is also the logistical, practical and emotional support families need most immediately when faced with the sudden impact of a crisis event – particularly a death.
In addition to this core service, we are also here to help in the good times.
Members can use us as a port of call on 1300 124 014 for help sourcing a range of professional services providers across all types of areas including legal assistance, psychological and counselling services and financial planning.
We also organise family events including family fun days, which run in different locations, often in association with participating employers and Miners’ Promise sponsors.
