Cassandra is the inaugural Executive Director of Miners' Promise and joined the Association in January 2011.

Cassie comes to Miners' Promise with an extensive background in the not for profit/welfare sector where she has worked at a senior executive level within Western Australia and New South Wales. Her previous roles included time spent at HBF Health Limited, RSPCA WA, Disability Services Australia and Service Industry Skills Council.

Cassie has a range of skills which include advocacy, membership management, human resource management, information technology, business development and strategic management. Cassie's current focus is the development of Miners' Promise business systems, membership base, marketing activities and service delivery.

As the Executive Director of Miners' Promise, Cassie is a member of all of the Board Sub - Committees and works closely with the management committee. Outside of Miners' Promise she works very closely with the Cancer Council promoting cancer awareness and assisting in raising funds for research in particular in the field of Breast Cancer.
