Eligibility

• Cover is only available to Australian Residents.
• Cover is only provided to a natural person employed within the Resources Sector of Western Australia.
• Cover is provided if you are a permanent employee and are working more than 15 or more hours each week.
• Members must be aged between 16 and 64. 
• Members must declare if they have any known pre-existing injuries or illness at the time of applying for membership.

Exclusions

• Limited support may be offered to your family should you die as a result of suicide or attempted suicide within 13 months of joining Miners' Promise.
• The member dies as a result of any pre existing injury or illness.

Pre Existing Medical Conditions

Means an injury, sickness or disability the Member:

• was diagnosed with, or
• had symptoms of, or
• was treated for,

in the twenty-four (24) months prior to becoming a member of Miners' Promise unless the Member was not aware of, and a reasonable person in the circumstances could not be expected to have been aware of, that injury, sickness or disability prior to commencing membership with Miners' Promise.
