Miners Promise

About Us

Miners’ Promise is a legacy organisation, pledged to ‘keeping the commitment’ that the resources industry has to those who work within it.

That commitment:

To support workers and their families on the death or significant injury of a loved one.

Established on 1 July 2010, Miners’ Promise is the only independent not-for-profit legacy scheme created to support workers and their families after the death or significant injury of a loved one employed within the resources industry of Western Australia.

Miners’ Promise is more than just a financial benefit, though – it is very much a comfort at the time of greatest need. It is mateship in it’s most practical and useful form. It’s mates looking after mates.

Miners Promise is open to all employees of participating companies or sponsors within the resources sector of WA – you don’t need to be working on a mine site to join. You can be working at a desk or contracted to the sector and still contribute to, and benefit from Miners Promise.
